In Darwin’s theory of evolution, the nature’s law is “only the fittest survives”.   The land may have changed into tall buildings, huge shopping malls, confusing streets, but the law remains the same.

To guarantee your survival you need to learn to adapt and evolve. Change is inevitable, you cannot afford to just standstill, you need to jive and go with the flow. Be on your toes by knowing the latest developments in your industry. Live your life with not just a motto of “read, read, and read” but also include “Improve, improve and improve”.

Take classes, attend seminars, research your field and make sure that you know what is happening in your industry other than the bathroom break gossip.

Nowadays, singles do everything wired. It’s not only important but it’s vital for singles to be computer savvy. Being in the cyberspace gives you the surge to the competitive world of Marketing.

“Great Customer Service” will always be the internet’s industry motto. Marketing one’s own service means more than what it did 10 or 15 years ago. Clients are more tech savvy, more educated and more business oriented now.

To keep your self updated with what is happening around your field here is a list that I prepared to guide you through.

1.        Getting continues feedback from your colleagues.

2.       You have to always clarify and bring into line your personal and professional goals.

3.       Do social networking; there are a lot of good networking sites such as twitter, blogger and facebook to name a few.

4.       Update yourself by being an internet savvy. There are lot of new things happening worldwide and its all in your hands to do the clicking.

Face up to the challenge of constant change and the need for self improvement. Being consistent and open to change is the key to keeping up with the constantly evolving and shifting grounds for singles of the business world. Maintain presence in the cyberspace. Promote advocacy with technology. Know that even in cyber world, buyers still have the emotions and will choose and decide. So always look back to the basics: honesty and integrity in your dealings.
